PCH Ward 1A creative Competition
Doctors, nurses, and practitioners were invited to enter a drawing competition for the kids to vote. This gave the children a sense of empowerment by reversing the roles and putting them in charge. The challenge brought a lot of joy to everyone involved and showcased the hidden talents and creativity behind the scrubs.
Sewing Medical solutions
Intravenous lines can vary in length and I wanted to keep them organised in order to avoid any accidents. I sewed simple solution that could be used to easily hold and sort the lines. The fabric with snaps was also used to keep the central venous catheter lumens from pressing into the body.
Aboriginal Journeyways
The rich history of Aboriginal journeys has been documented and published in a joint initiative with Kurongkurl Katitjin (Centre for Australian Indigenous Education and Research) at Edith Cowan University (ECU). This initiative forms part of Main Roads WA reconciliation journey, to acknowledge the histories and significant contributions made by the Aboriginal workforce in shaping our roads. I was honoured to design Aboriginal Journeyways which held deeply personal interviews and stories. I illustrated custom maps and designed the collection.
Yoyana
The highlight of creating a visual identity for Yoyana was illustrating the poses and movement. The flow with each illustration came naturally.
